Beginning Italian Class

Italian Class

In this 9-week class, participants will be introduced to the basics of the Italian language and celebrate Italian culture. Participants will learn common vocabulary and a foundation to the grammatical structure needed to develop simple reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. No prior knowledge of the Italian Language is required for this class.
The Center for Enrichment is partnering with Marquette University’s Psychology and LLAC departments on a research study exploring whether learning a second language later in life may help delay cognitive decline.
Join Dr. Giordana Poggioli-Kaftan in learning Italian while contributing to this exciting research opportunity.
