Clement Manor hosted a special Intergenerational Planting Day on Monday, June 1, 2026, with residents and second-grade students from St. John the Evangelist Parish School for a morning of planting flowers, connecting, and building community.
CBS58 News showed up at the event to share our story with the community. The residents are extremely proud of this project, which gives them a wonderful sense of purpose as they work with children in our community while beautifying our campus.
This joyful event highlights the powerful impact of intergenerational programming, which fosters meaningful relationships between older adults and young people. Residents and students will work side by side to plant flowers throughout the Clement Manor campus, helping create a vibrant, welcoming environment for the summer.
