For Judy Garland, the 1950 MGM musical Summer Stock was the end of the road for The Wizard of Oz star after 15 years at the studio she called home. Join author and film historian David Fantle as he tells the “back story” of this troubled production. David has been interviewing, writing and speaking about Hollywood’s Golden Age stars for 45 years. His work appeared in media outlets throughout the
world. Now he is an adjunct professor in film at Marquette University and co-author of three books.
