Clement Manor Announces new President

The Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sponsored Ministries and the Board of Directors of Clement Manor are pleased to announce the appointment of Shannon M. Angell, RN, NHA, QCP, CDP, as President of Clement Manor, effective August 3, 2026.

Following an extensive and thoughtful national search, Angell was selected for her proven leadership, commitment to quality care, and passion for building strong, mission-driven communities.

“Shannon’s demonstrated leadership, deep commitment to quality care, and passion for community make Shannon exceptionally well-suited to guide Clement Manor into its next chapter,” said Ryan Neville, Chief Executive Officer of Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Ministries. “We are confident Shannon will strengthen our mission and continue to elevate the experience of those we serve.”

Angell brings a wealth of experience in healthcare leadership, having successfully led organizations through growth, performance improvement, cultural development, and strategic transformation. Most recently, Angell served as Chief Nursing Officer at Carriage Healthcare, where responsibilities included clinical oversight and leadership across 22 long-term care service lines, including skilled nursing, assisted living, and home health.

Prior to that role, Angell held several executive leadership positions at St. Camillus in Wauwatosa, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Clinical Services. During that tenure, Angell helped lead an organization that served more than 700 residents and employed over 640 team members.

A Registered Nurse, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, QAPI Certified Professional, and Certified Dementia Practitioner, Angell combines clinical expertise with operational leadership and a strong mission-centered approach. Angell has also been active in the community, volunteering with Hunger Task Force Milwaukee and United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, and serving as a Wisconsin Forward Award examiner.

Angell resides on a small farm in rural Wisconsin and enjoys spending time outdoors and connecting with nature.

This leadership transition follows the planned retirement of Dennis Ferger, whose tenure marked a significant chapter in Clement Manor’s history. The organization expresses deep gratitude for Ferger’s service and leadership.

“We are excited about the future under Shannon’s leadership,” leadership at Clement Manor has said. “We are confident Shannon will build on our strong foundation, honor our mission and values, and guide Clement Manor into its next era of excellence.”

The Clement Manor board, staff, residents, family members, and community welcome Angell and look forward to introducing this new leadership in the months ahead.
