Clement Manor Celebrates Women's History Month

Members of the Clement Manor Diversity Team have come up with a creative lineup of programs and opportunities for everyone on campus to celebrate Women’s History Month including:

"She Inspires Meâ€, an art exhibit showcasing staff and resident-made picture boards of women they are inspired by.

Meet historical figure, Mary Ann Bickerdyke
Jessica Michna is a storyteller. Come to see her portray Bickerdyke and to hear her tell the story of how Mary Ann would distinguish herself during the American Civil War for her tireless efforts to more efficiently care for wounded soldiers. She was highly regarded despite being known as an outspoken, insubordinate nurse.

Due to space limitations, this event is for residents and their families/friends only. Goodwill Industries will present a fashion show featuring "The First Ladies of the United States.†This special program will include information on the First Ladies’ history, style and contributions to America.
