Francis Haven provides a safe and dignified home for people with dementia, giving specialized attention to the needs of every individual.
Francis Haven is our dementia-specific memory care wing designed to care for individuals with mid stage Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias. Francis Haven is a homelike, activity-based environment that allows residents the independence to choose areas of activity or respite as they desire. Large group, small group and "one-on-one normalization" activities ensure that each resident's day is well modulated with the appropriate amount of stimulation and that their social needs are met. Residents with memory loss can thrive in Francis Haven's low stress environment. Francis Haven's residents enjoy moving about the wing, which includes a large dining/great room space, a kitchen area with diner style counters, a meditation area, a living room/lounge area, a bird aviary and a newly created "huddle-cuddle" space. This environment allows the residents to maintain their highest level of independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Clement Manor also has a newly redesigned "Evergreen" unit that specializes in supportive care for individuals with late stage Alzheimer's and other related dementias.
