The artist also known as Gi Gi has been painting for almost 40 years.
Her love of the outdoors, photography, and drawing have been part of her life since she was a young girl. She was always involved in art projects of some kind, and still is creating something. She studied art in school but never followed through with purchasing all the equipment until she was older, (which she now regrets). GiGi has studied with several art teachers, and attends workshops when she gets a chance. Doing most of her studies in the process of painting oils, she is now tackling the art of watercolors.
She is a member of the League of Milwaukee Artists, the A.C. Art Association, and St. John’s Pelletier’s, with whom she painted for 25 years.
Gladys is also a talented singer and leads the residents at Clement Manor in a lively hymn sing every Thursday in the Chapel.
On display through July 31, 2010.
8:30am to 7:30pm daily near the Health Center lobby.
